Course Overview:
The course is classroom based, providing the knowledge required during the inspection of drill pipe and Bottom Hole Assemblies (BHA)

- Inspection Standards (Fearnley Procter NS-2 TM - DS-1 TM - ISO 10407-2)
- General Requirements “The objective of the standards”
- Evaluation of Imperfections under these standards
- Inspection and Repair Procedures
- Limited Service/Fitness for purpose
- Drill pipe manufacturing and manufacturing standards,
- Inspection related to failure prevention
- Inspection techniques
Aimed at: Inspection personnel
Each inspector will take a series of exams through out the 3-day theory. An inspectors certificate for attendance and successful completion of the course and the specified exam mark will be issued.
