NS-16 Hardbanding Manual for PinnChromeŽ Alloysd

This manual has been written by Fearnley Procter UK on behalf of PinnChrome International. This manual was developed to provide a technical reference for applicators of PinnchromeŽ and the end user of the product. It is intended to serve oilfield operators, drilling contractors, hardbanding applicators, rental tool companies and inspection personnel.
Application guidelines and their variables are covered for applicators, along with qualification requirements on applicators for using PinnChromeŽ. An inspection criterion for the finished weld along with acceptance/rejection criteria is also covered.
The applicator shall operate a Quality Assurance structure responsible for compiling and implementing a Quality System, which ensures that the requirements of this operations manual are achieved.
It is recommended that applicators quality system be based upon ISO 9002/9003 or API Q1.
Technical Review Committee
A small panel of 'experts' have been assigned to review technical updates to this manual that cover the field of Oilfield Operators, Drilling Contractors, Supplier, Inspection, Repair and Drillstring Manufacturing Companies.
